Gate Operator System

Each high-quality gate operator system is delivered fully assembled with electromagnetic drive locks. Features include:

  • Heavy-duty unit mounted on an all steel HD stand.

  • Equipped with weatherproof, heavy-gauge housing and a hinged access section for powering down unit before servicing.

  • Top-quality, plated rolled chain with permanently lubricated bearings.

  • Factory-installed electrical circuitry is ready to connect to power source and control stations. (please see LD-2 with AC-3 option for easy aftermarket accessories hook up)

  • Circuit has thermal overload protection; reversing contractors with built-in mechanical and electrical interlock to prevent double closure with heavy silver-to-silver contacts.

  • Designed to provide maximum protection. The over-center type clutch easily adjusts to load requirements (includes handle for manual operation in the event of power failure).

  • The power unit includes heavy-duty industrial-strength NEMA motor attached to a single stage right angle gear reducer and oil bath type lubrication.

  • Each unit is equipped with a magnetic brake/locking device that holds the gate rigidly closed and helps maintain accurate limit settings.

  • Contactors have U.L. rating with a minimum of 150% in excess of motor specifications.

  • Incoming line voltage can be single-phase or 3-phase, as required. (incoming 3-phase power will be utilized in motor type)

Our customizable gate openers guarantee sufficient reserve power and strength for an increased lifetime of performance. The power, delivered to the gate by the operator, is under full control at all times.
